iPhone actually more expensive than old phone!

Ah yes, I’m sure everyone is a little disappointed by the lack of surprises during this mornings iPhone release. But we can all agree that the new iPhone is $100 cheaper than the old one, right? WRONG.

Although Jobs may have preached “affordability” with the 3G phone’s release, its more just to get around the mental barrier of spending more than $200 on a phone. The new phone has a more expensive data plan, which actually makes it more expensive to own than the old phone!

they still look pretty sweet. I bet if you dropped it the phones structural integrity would not be compromised.
